A U.S. Air Force F-15EX Eagle II assigned to the 85th Test and Evaluation Squadron, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, approaches a KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 909th Air Refueling Squadron for air refueling en route to Kadena Air Base, Japan, June 29, 2026. The test aircraft arrival supported the Department of War's effort to modernize U.S. airpower in the Indo-Pacific and prepared Kadena personnel and the local community for the F-15EX's arrival.
