Donald Coomes, commanding officer, Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Alexandria (SSN 757), delivers remarks during the ship’s Inactivation Ceremony onboard Naval Base Point Loma, June 29, 2026. Alexandria was commissioned on June 29, 1991, and is scheduled to be decommissioned after 35 years of active service.
