U.S. Army Soldiers from the 108th Army Band perform with alumni of the Future Leaders Exchange program June 29, 2026 at the American Councils for International Education Kazakhstan office in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The FLEX program sends exceptional Kazak students to live with American host families and attend U.S. high schools, while facilitating host families for U.S. students, who attend Kazakh high schools. FLEX students study abroad for a period of one academic year. This performance highlights how creative expression serves as a diplomatic tool to celebrate longstanding educational ties between the United States and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
