Matt Lynn, the regional development operations manager with Atlantic Marine Corps Communities employee fills a bag with food for needy children at an Atlantic Marine Corps Communities facility aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, July 9. The food was donated by staff members to United Way’s Children Healthy Eating on Weekends program, a program that provides meals for underprivileged youth during the school year and throughout the summer. In addition to providing food to the program, Atlantic Marine Corps Communities gave a $500 check to the Camp Lejeune Dependent’s School Child Nutrition program, a separate program that provides meals to base youth when school is not in session.
