A small unmanned aerial system is flown during a flight demonstration conducted as part of Pacific Friendship 2026 in Quang Tri, Vietnam, June 26, 2026. The demonstration provided members of the Vietnamese People's Army with practical exposure to sUAS capabilities while strengthening technical cooperation between the partner forces. Pacific Friendship is an annual U.S. Army Pacific-led bilateral engagement focusing on the U.S.-Vietnamese People's Army's humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, as well as various medical and engineering activities to advance the mutual interest of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
