TAHITI, French Polynesia-- Col. Phillip Smith and Command Sgt. Maj. Oskar Ramirez, commander and command sergeant major of the 322nd Civil Affairs Brigade, pin medals on soldiers from the 322nd Civil Affairs Brigade who were instrumental in the functionality of Exercise Marara 26, June 15, 2026. Marara 26 is a French-led multinational exercise in French Polynesia that enhances interoperability and strengthens humanitarian assistance and disaster response capabilities among Indo-Pacific allies and partners.
