Justin O’Connell, grandson of Marine Corps Maj. Francis Edward Visconti holds up a picture of his grandfather, who died Nov. 22, 1965, when his UH-34D helicopter crashed at night in a storm in South Vietnam. He and three others on that flight are still missing. The man next to him is O’Connell’s uncle, Tony Visconti, who is wearing an extra set of his brother’s dog tags. They were with members of families in Arlington, Va., June 25, 2026, who lost loved ones during the Vietnam War. The event was sponsored by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.
