The Experimentation/Prototype-to-Sustainment Risk Framework proposed is the author’s conceptual model for integrating sustainment considerations into accelerated acquisition activities. It is not a formal Army or Department of War framework, but rather a proposed approach intended to stimulate discussion regarding how sustainment risk can be more effectively considered during accelerated acquisition efforts.
