Leaders from the German Air Force and the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, Gentry B Stephens, visited Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. to meet with wing leadership and discuss their future training partnership on June 24, 2026.
The visit provided an opportunity to tour facilities and prepare for participation in the Foreign Military Sales F-35 training program.
During the visit, Katz and Stephens exchanged gifts as a sign of camaraderie and the building of global partnership.
The German Air Force is scheduled to begin F-35 Lightning II training at Ebbing in the winter of 2026. The training will further strengthening international partnerships and advancing allied readiness.
