Green Berets assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne) drive to the summit of Pikes Peak to deliver the checkered flag to race officials before the start of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 21, 2026. The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, also known as the “Race to the Clouds,” is an annual motorsports competition that challenges drivers and riders to ascend the 12.42-mile course to the 14,115-foot summit of Pikes Peak, and marks the third consecutive year the 10th SFG (A) has supported the historic event.
