Students assigned to Mesa Ridge high school conduct a weighted drag during a team-building and leader-development “grit” event on Fort Carson, Colorado, June 17, 2026. The students were training alongside U.S. Army Green Berets assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). The event strengthened community partnerships and fostered teamwork by challenging local high school students alongside Green Berets through physically and mentally demanding activities.
