Staff from U.S. Naval Hospital Guam's Department of Mental Health pose with a display of information during their inaugural Mental Health Wellness Day held May 28, 2026. The event promoted mental health awareness, resilience and wellness. More than 175 participants had the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities designed to support overall well-being, foster resilience, and encourage healthy coping strategies. The collaborative event brought together numerous departments at the hospital, including Pastoral Care, the Command Resilience Team, Suicide Prevention, the Provider Wellness Program, Caregiver Operational Stress Control (COSC), Health Promotions, Nutrition Services, and the Command Fitness Team. The local American Red Cross and Military Family Life Counselors (MFLCs) also supported the event.
