The incoming commander, Brig. Gen. Tommy F. Tillman, Jr., is a command pilot with more than 4,450 total flying hours. Brig. Gen. Tillman enlisted in the MSANG in 1987, earned his commission through the Academy of Military Science and has held numerous command positions at the squadron, wing and state level throughout his career.
