The CTF74 Liaison Officer from Australia rings the bell for the tolling of the boats during the 126th Submarine Birthday Ball held at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka, April 24, 2026. The Submarine Birthday Ball commemorated 126 years of silent service with service members of the U.S. Navy, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, and Royal Australian Navy. Submarine Group 7 directs forward-deployed, combat capable forces across the full spectrum of undersea warfare throughout the Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Arabian Sea.
