Presented by Department of War leadership, Patricia Bolton, Regional Value Officer for the USACE North Atlantic Division, accepts the Gordon Frank Outstanding Accomplishment in Government Award on behalf of the Philadelphia District Value Officer, Mr. Patrick Falvey.
This award honors Mr. Falvey and the project team for their Value Planning Study on the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal Bridges Pier Protection project. In response to NTSB identified collision risks highlighted after the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapse in March 2024, the team brought in specialized external experts early in design to evaluate vulnerabilities and propose alternatives.
