A U.S. Army cook assigned to the 55th Quartermaster Field Feeding Company, 16th Special Troops Battalion, takes a meal request from fellow servicemembers while operating from “The Culinary Outpost,” a U.S. Army food truck, during a U.S. Army Birthday and Heritage celebration hosted by the 16th Sustainment Brigade at the Hall of Champions on Smith Barracks, Baumholder, Germany, June 11, 2026. Participation in the celebration provided an opportunity to serve guests while also showcasing Army modernization capabilities.
