U.S. Army Spc. Owen Reynolds, a combat medical specialist from the 996th Medical Company, Area Support, mans a Role 2 medical treatment facility June 5, 2026 at Camp Navajo near Bellemont, Arizona.
Reynolds was selected to attend the Western States Wildland Fire Academy at the Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center in Wyoming based on his performance as a combat medical specialist. After completing the course, he hopes to use his wildland fire credentials as a competitive edge while pursuing a career as a paramedic firefighter in the Phoenix area.
Selfless service inspires others to serve in the community. Service to one’s community, regardless of that capacity in which one serves, is what makes citizenry an honorable characterization.
