The Aviation Center of Excellence provided an opportunity for flight school students to learn more about the attacks on the U.S. on September 11, 2001, by hosting a presentation by the 9:57 Project, a nonprofit that focuses on the story of U.S. citizens who fought back at 9:57 a.m. that day against the hijackers of United Airlines Flight 93 that crashed in Pennsylvania, at Fort Rucker, Ala., June 10, 2026.
