FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 11, 2026) – Base community members and Navy Housing tenants receive free bottled water at Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka's Sanban Tower in preparation for the Water Line Repair at the installation's Carney Gate. The installation is offering the free bottled water to personnel ahead of a planned water conservation advisory scheduled to begin Monday, June 15 and it's following boil water advisory through the upcoming federal holiday's four-day weekend. Distribution sites operate daily from June 11 to June 22 to help residents prepare while critical infrastructure improvements are completed to maintain the safety and reliability of the installation’s water system.
