U.S. Army Col. Caryn R. Vernon, commander of the 44th Medical Brigade, XVIII Airborne Corps, is awarded the Order of Saint Michael Airborne by Command Sgt. Maj. Scott R. Dinse, the senior enlisted advisor of the 44th Medical Brigade, at Fort Bragg, N.C., June 10, 2026. Vernon received the award before departing the brigade after two years of dedicated leadership.
