A service dog lies near its owner’s gear as U.S. Marines and veterans with Team Marine Corps, Wounded Warrior Regiment, try on issued equipment at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, June 10, 2026, before the start of the 2026 Warrior Games. Service members and veterans from participating teams were issued the gear needed to compete in 12 adaptive sports. The 2026 Warrior Games bring together wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans to compete in adaptive sports while promoting recovery, resilience and camaraderie.
