Army veterans Keddrick Best and Joe Hayslett, 597th Transportation Brigade, ARTRANS, DA civilians from the "Rapid Support" operations team, were on the ground, providing leadership and operational expertise to ensure seamless port operations and mission success as the behemoth Bob Hope-class MV Roy P. Benavidez —a large, medium-speed roll-on/roll-off ship—returned to its pier in Newport News, Virginia. Their dedication and professionalism were key to the safe and efficient movement of vital military assets throughout this year's Turbo exercises.
