Col. Patrick Cobb, 102 IW commander, Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Winton “Bones” Marshall, and Col. James LeFavor, pose in front of an F-86 static display on Otis Air National Guard Base, Mass., July 16. Marshall was an F-86 Sabre pilot and commander of the 335th Fighter Squadron, Korea, from 1951-1952. After the war, the Air Force officially confirmed 6 ½ aerial victories for Gen. Marshall.
