NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY NAPLES, Italy (June 5, 2026) Edgar Rubalcaba, assigned to U.S. Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples, Italy, receives Civilian of the Quarter, 2nd Quarter Fiscal Year 26, from Capt. John Randazzo, NSA Naples commanding officer during an awards ceremony onboard NSA Naples Support Site, June 5, 2026. The Sailor of the Quarter program was established to recognize the superior performance of enlisted personnel and emphasize outstanding achievement, exemplary personal conduct, exceptional military bearing, and superb initiative. NSA Naples is an operational ashore base home to over 50 tenant commands and 8,500 personnel. Providing a forward-deployed platform to the fleet that enables the warfighter and supports the family, NSA Naples supports U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa, U.S. Sixth Fleet, NATO, and combatant commander strategic priorities to ensure stability across the European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility.
