Medics assigned to Charlie Medical, 39th Brigade Support Battalion; 1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment; 239th Brigade Engineer Battalion; and 77th Expeditionary Combat Aviation Brigade medical flight crew conduct a mass casualty and casualty evacuation training exercise at Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center, Arkansas, June 7, 2026. The exercise tested Soldiers’ ability to respond to a simulated security threat, recover casualties, assess injuries, establish triage, provide medical treatment, submit a 9-line medical evacuation request and evacuate patients by UH-60 Black Hawk and field litter ambulance.

The 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Arkansas Army National Guard, conducted annual training from May 30, 2026, to June 13, 2026, at Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center to build readiness, strengthen individual and collective proficiency, and prepare Soldiers for future state and federal missions. Annual training provides units the opportunity to validate combat skills, refine leader development and increase lethality across the brigade.
