U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark Morrell, the Adjutant General of the South Dakota National Guard (SDNG), and Command Sgt. Maj. Marcus Stacey, the State Enlisted Leader of the SDNG, present challenge coins to four Soldiers from the 200th Engineer Company during a wet-gap crossing exercise near the Missouri River in Pierre, S.D., June 6, 2026. The training enhanced the unit’s ability to rapidly transport personnel and equipment across a water obstacle in support of combat and contingency operations.
