French veterans hold flags during an award ceremony honoring World War II veteran Jack Einstein at the Chateau de Servigny, Yvetot-Bocage, France, June 4, 2026. The ceremony brought together local community members and service members to honor Einstein’s service during the D-Day campaign and reflect on the responsibility to carry forward the stories of those who fought for freedom.
