U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Kyle Grunder, a drill master with 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment, gives a brief to Marines with Charlie Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion prior to a company motivational run at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, California, June 4, 2026. The company motivational run is a three-mile cadence run conducted around the depot and is the last physical training event the Marines will conduct before they graduate from MCRD San Diego.
