    Navy Capt. Virginia Damin, commanding officer of Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Camp Pendleton, introduces Nathaniel Leoncio, a former Fleet Marine Force (FMF) hospital corpsman, during morning colors aboard Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton on June 5, 2026. Leoncio earned the Bronze Star Medal with “V” device for his actions on Oct. 4, 2005, during Operation Bowie in the unincorporated areas of southern Ar Ramadi, Iraq, while assigned to 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment. Leoncio will be the guest speaker at the 2026 North County Hospital Corpsman Ball on June 18, 2026. America’s Navy has promoted prosperity and security, deterred aggression, and protected the American way of life for 250 years.
