U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Maj. Carlos A. Ruiz, the 20th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, visits Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, California, June 4, 2026. As part of his visit, Ruiz spoke to Marines of 1st Force Storage Battalion and to families and staff during Barstow’s Employee Recognition Day. Separately, Ruiz toured Marine Depot Maintenance Command’s Production Plant, Barstow’s rail operations, and the Marine Corps’ Mounted Color Guard.
