Soldiers assigned to 1st Infantry Division Law Enforcement Activity, the Fort Riley Directorate of Emergency Services, and supporters run through the final stretch of the annual Fort Riley Law Enforcement Torch Run at Fort Riley, Kansas, June 4, 2026. Known as Guardians of the Flame, law enforcement members and Special Olympics athletes carry the “Flame of Hope” into Opening Ceremonies of local competitions.
