U.S. Airmen with the 148th Air Support Operations Squadron, Pennsylvania Air National Guard, trained Joint Terminal Attack Controllers to practice calling in strikes from an F-16 Fighting Falcon to ensure their calls are accurate and precise when aiming at the target at Bollen Range, Fort Indiantown Gap, June 6, 2026. The responsibilities of a JTAC is to control and direct actions of military aircraft that became engaged in close air support and throughout other air operations, which would simulate on the battlefield.
