U.S Navy Construction Mechanic 2nd Class Vincent Crosby, a Seabee assigned to Naval Construction Group (NCG) 1, uses a tow strap to manually maneuver a vintage Navy recruiting truck at the U.S. Navy Seabee Museum on Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, Calif., June 1, 2026. NCG 1 is homeported in Pt. Hueneme, and leads and manages the overall capability and readiness of its Naval Construction Regiments (NCR's), Naval Mobile Construction Battalions (NMCB's), Construction Battalion Maintenance Unit (CBMU), and Underwater Construction Team (UCT).
