U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Company Alpha, Combat Logistics Battalion 13, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, prepare to launch a Skydio X2D drone during small, unmanned aircraft system operations as part of a company field exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, May 27, 2026. During a realistic scenario, Marines gained insight into the capabilities of three unmanned systems while also practicing signature management to conceal themselves from adversarial drone operators.
