Pacific Missile Range Facility, Kekaha (May 12, 2026) — Commanding Officer, Captain Robert Prince (center) and Community Planning Liaison, Kaulana Mossman chat with students about their day on the base. The Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) recently hosted students from Kula Aupuni A Kahelelani Aloha (KANAKA) Public Charter School for a guided visit to the cultural and historic sites on installation. Students visited the Lua Kupapa’u O’ Nohili Crypt, Waiapua’a Bay and the Nohili Dunes where they practiced cultural protocol and contributed towards the planting of native a’ali’i seedlings. Through visits like these, the U.S. Navy provides opportunities for students to engage with PMRF’s history, mission and cultural significance while fostering meaningful connections with our island communities. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain range, capable of supporting surface and sub-surface, air and space operations simultaneously.
