National Guard units mastered precision engineering thanks to recent training conducted by Product Director for Combat Terrain Information Systems (PD CTIS) at Camp San Luis Obispo, CA.
PD CTIS led the five-day Operational New Equipment Training (OPNET) on surveying technology for California Army National Guard units – the 578th Engineer Battalion and 579th Engineer Battalion, 184th Construction Management Teams and the 315th and 649th Engineer Company – when they gathered for annual training last month.
The units sharpened their surveying fundamentals to enhance resilience and readiness for theater-level engineering operations supporting joint forces.
