On April 9, 2026, the U.S. Army hosted the latest in a series of recurring Cross-Service Contract Writing System (CWS) Summits. This event, “Precision at Pace ~ AI-Driven Defense Acquisition Reform,” brought together leaders from across the armed services, the defense industry and the technology sector to align on employing artificial intelligence (AI) to develop, acquire and field critical procurement capabilities.
