CMSgt Mikael (Mack) Sundin, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Director, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, and SGM Daryl Plude, National Guard Bureau J-5 Strategy, Plans, Policy & International Affairs Senior Enlisted Leader visited the Daniel K. Inoye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies, Honolulu, Hawaii, May 15,2026. After meeting with Center leadership, he participated in a roundtable with our enlisted personnel. Discussions during the roundtable emphasized empowering the enlisted force to take proactive ownership of their career progression, while also exploring ways to increase NCO participation in Center courses and in-region events to further strengthen collaborative security efforts.
