U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Omar J. Randall, the commanding general of 1st Marine Logistics Group, meets with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) leadership to discuss ongoing operational support in Nogales, Ariz., May 18, 2026. 1st MLG leadership visited the region to observe barrier reinforcement operations conducted in support of CBP. U.S. Northern Command is working side-by-side with the Department of Homeland Security and CBP within narrowly defined authorities to provide unique military capabilities to protect the territorial integrity of the U.S. southern border.
