Airman 1st Class Elaine Brito, 377th Medical Group aerospace medical service specialist, documents the injuries and status of a simulated patient as part of a Sustainment Operations for Air Force Medical Service Response (SOAR) aircraft mishap full-scale exercise at Kirtland Air Force Base, N. M., April 16, 2026. This exercise reinforced the 377 MDG’s emergency response readiness and gave real situational experience to Airmen by including patients with varying injuries and having them apply Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).
