Recently, students from our Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) led training for BACH medics alongside medics from the 531st Hospital Center and the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) focused on head injuries and chest tube procedures.

Using simulation manikins to demonstrate treatment techniques and emergency response procedures, the IPAP students guided participants through realistic, hands-on scenarios designed to strengthen critical medical skills. Medics also had the opportunity to practice procedures themselves using the training manikins, reinforcing lifesaving techniques in a controlled learning environment.

Training opportunities like this help strengthen readiness, encourage collaboration across military medicine, and ensure our medical teams remain prepared to provide high-quality care whenever and wherever they are needed.
