On Apr. 3, 2026, groups from the U.S. Army Field Band visited the Fort Meade Child Development Centers to provide entertainment during the Month of the Military Child. The group shown is the Field Band's Brass Quintet. Recognized for their versatility as well as their technical skill, the Army Field Band Brass Quintet combines standard quintet works, band and orchestral transcriptions, commissions, and original compositions to present one of the most diverse and entertaining chamber ensemble programs heard today.
