Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 67th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, participate in a career day at Crockett Elementary School in El Paso, Texas. The event is sponsored by the Partners in Education team, led by 1st Lt. Aaron Farinas and Staff Sgt. Donald Mitchem, who work with volunteers from 1‑67 AR to strengthen ties with the local community.
Students had the opportunity to try on military gear, including the M50 protective mask and the Improved Outer Tactical Vest (IOTV), and received short informational classes on Army equipment and operations. The Soldiers focused on creating a fun, engaging learning experience for the students.
