FLEET ACTIVITIES Yokosuka, Japan (May 17, 2026) -- High school baseball players from Department of War Education Activity schools, including Yokosuka's Nile C. Kinnick High School, and international schools participating in Far East Baseball attended the 2026 Pro Scouts Combine and All-Star Game May 17, 2026 at Berkey Field onboard Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan. Former Major League Baseball (MLB) and Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) pitcher Keiichi Yabu coached the students' pitching mechanics, MLB scouts operating in Japan ran combine drills and data analysts recorded the athletes' advanced metrics including spin rate and exit velocity.
