U.S. Marines and civilians waved on veteran motorcycle riders with salutes and American flags along Route 66/Joseph L. Boll during their annual Run for the Wall ride from California to the Vietnam Memorial wall in Washington, D.C. at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., May 13, 2026. These riders run various routes and join the convoy along the way so by the time they meet at the wall, there are thousands to remember those that can’t ride for themselves by Memorial Day.
