The U.S. Indo-Pacific J7 Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability team preps an advanced unmanned maritime drone for counter-landing live-fire exercise with soldiers assigned to 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Mobile Brigade, 25th Infantry Division, the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force during Exercise Balikatan 2026 at La Paz Sand Dunes, Laoag City, Philippines, May 4, 2026. PMTEC provided advanced electronic warfare systems and emitters, as well as aerial and maritime drones to enhance EW training during the exercise. Balikatan is a longstanding annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and U.S. military that represents the strength of our alliance, improves our capable combined force, and demonstrates our commitment to regional peace and prosperity.
