Sgt. Brandon J. Sherk, former SkillBridge intern at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District (USACE FED), was unsure about his future career path. He participated in the program based on a recommendation from a fellow soldier. During his time with FED, he visited projects sites such as the $1.6 million renovation of the USAG Humphreys Command Group; the Plans, Analysis and Integration Office and the Internal Review and Audit Compliance Office Oct. 21, 2025, at Camp Humphreys, South Korea. During the site visit, Sherk worked as a safety inspector. (U.S. Army photo by Monique Freemon)
