Recently, Blanchfield Army Community Hospital’s Education & Staff Development (ESD) trained medics joined alongside their counterparts from the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) for their annual Table VIII training.

The training focused on critical combat medical skills including wound dressing, airway management, and K9 Tactical Combat Casualty Care (K9 TCCC) before culminating in high-stress trauma lanes designed to simulate the chaos of the battlefield. During these realistic scenarios, Soldiers and medics were tested on their ability to rapidly assess and treat combat injuries while operating under pressure in dynamic environments.

This hands-on training strengthens readiness, sharpens lifesaving skills, and ensures our military medical teams remain prepared to provide critical care whenever and wherever they are needed.
