Pelicans fly in the foreground while USS Benfold (DDG 65) makes its way to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) in California for a recent Combat Systems Assessment Team (CSAT) event. NSWC PHD technicians also performed a CSAT on DDG 65 in 2023 while it was forward-deployed to Yokosuka, Japan. The ship’s homeport has since shifted to Everett, Washington.
