Steelworker 1st Class Angel Cano from El Paso, Texas plays with children during his lunch break at the Simpucan Elementary School construction site. The Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 Civic Construction Activity Detail (CCAD) are constructing a two-classroom masonry building for the school. Seabees conduct CCAD operations to demonstrate U.S. commitment, develop enduring relationships, improve public infrastructure for the delivery of essential services, and strengthen local institutions with host and partner nations around the world.
